Week 18 - Final Pitching: The Day

The day have finally come where every group will present their efforts and hard work in front of the panelists. During the preparation, every group was finalizing their presentation, and each presenter of the team practices their speech while teaching their member who is responsible in their PowerPoint on how to time their slides during the presentation to synchronize with the delivery flow. On the other end, we, the Team Argonauts, were fully prepared for what was about to come and completely ensures that all necessary things to prepare are already ready when it is our turn.

THE SPEECH: HOW IT WENT
I, as the presenter, was practicing earlier than expected in preparation for my pitch deck presentation. As a hustler and team leader of Project Argonauts, it is my responsibility to be the face of our project and present it to our panelists and fellow classmates.
During the presentation, the flow of delivery did not go well as planned by the team due to miscommunication. Thus, it resulted to a delay in my presentation and significantly consumed extra time which should have been used to present the rest of the slide. However, despite the challenges and failure to discuss all of the slides of the PowerPoint, we still manage to cover the majority of important details.

QUESTION AND ANSWER
The panelists asked several questions regarding our project proposal, especially on how the mobile application is intended to work. To answer their questions, we discuss the matter in detail from the relationship in between mental health care assistance and the acts of volunteerism for clean-and-green programs and other social events. In addition, we discussed some of the details that I, as the hustler, was not able to present due to time for the panelists to fully understand the scope and overall information of our proposed project.

LESSON LEARNED: FROM OUR EXPERIENCE
Finally, the panelist, Ma'am Bergardo, asked each one of us the lessons we have learned throughout our journey in Technopreneurship, the development of the project, and the reason as to why we made the project and the inspiration behind it. The simple answer would be, we, as a team of mental health advocates, our goal is to make a change of the mental health support of Cagayan de Oro City, or the entire globe, and lend our hands to those people who are in need of help.

The VolunPeerism app is dedicated to one of our friend who we almost lost due to depression. Thus, we, Project Argonauts are here to help them wherever they are, and no matter what happens, we are always there for them.
