Week 8 - 8 Weeks Journey: A Reflection
The first 8 weeks of Technopreneurship journey was never been easier than what one would expect it. The group faced several challenges along the way, including on how we will be able to conduct an interview on a certain age range, and what are the questions that the group should ask from a target data subject. In my personal opinion, the obstacles came across by the group was difficult to get into, but in the end, we managed to succeed and be able to tell the tale.
A REFLECTION OF THE 8 WEEKS JOURNEY
Week 1; the beginning. I have not yet been into a group at that point. It was a self-assessment process where I could know who I am, not profoundly, but on a generalized scale. The result was necessary as a critical factor for the upcoming Week 2, where there is a need to know other members to work coordinately and effectively.
Next is week 2, where Team Argonauts was born. During this week, each member introduced themselves and studied their profiles from the week one self-assessment results. This part of the process plays an essential role in the team to better know the strengths and weaknesses of their members. I realized that everyone is different and that understanding one's uniqueness can lead to the team's success.
Then comes week 3, the initial discovery interview. I have learned many things during this part of the week, where mistakes were made, and lessons were learned, and that there is a need for modifying and improving the way the group approaches its potential customers, the interviewees to be exact.
Now, the mid-week, week 4, is the point where the reason why effective communication matters. Through this, the group will be able to understand the pains and experiences of their target data subjects and visualize the best solution that fits them.
In week 5, the group learned the process that involves hypothesis testing and interview planning. This part of the week was essential as the analysis of common patterns from the data gathered plays a vital role in developing the proposed project.
Week 6, this is the part where the group learned a lot. The fact that validation is necessary means the project can move forward. Without the validity, the project would cease or be rendered ineffective.
Week 7 taught the group how and why the UI/UX of the proposed project is crucial and the development process behind it. Currently, the group has not yet been able to develop a UI/UX. There is a need for a briefing and further discussion between the members on this matter.
It was a wonderful experience throughout my journey through Technopreneurship, but it does not stop there. There is still more to achieve and work on, and when proposing, something does not have an end. It is still the beginning, and at this point, me and Team Argonauts will strive and fully develop the potential of our project.
