Week 7 - UI/UX: The Creation of a Prototype

THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE PROJECT

It has finally come to a point where the group have to create a prototype after how many weeks of pushing through over the project. This part of the process is where the need to create a potential software, or a mobile application.

UI/UX, WHY IT MATTERS?

UI/UX, short for User Interface/User Experience, is an object or "something" that a user can interact with. In the technological world, anything can be a UI/UX, from machines with digital computers to control its actions, to web or mobile applications that users from around the globe can interact with. Everyone has smartphones, and UI/UX is very common in this case.

Why is UI/UX important? Because it is a tool to meet the expectations of your potential customers. It is where a user will be able to see if the necessary functions and features implemented meet their needs so that they will use it and make it a part of their daily needs. A good UI/UX is even a more effective approach, especially in terms of its design, the ability to become more appealing to its target customers, and the way how it will be able to solve the problem they are encountering, based on the studies that have been conducted through interviews in the past weeks.

THE UNFORTUNATE TRUTH

As of the moment, the group, Team Argonauts, have not yet been able to make a prototype out of the proposed project. After several interviews conducted, there was a long break time in the group, where there is a need to discuss even further how to develop the prototype. As of the moment, the  group have to gather more information and brainstorm as to how the prototype should function, what is its critical components, its structure, and most importantly, the design. The features are already on the line. It is just a matter of time when the group will be able develop the prototype in the future.
