Week 3 - The Conflict: Customer Discovery Interview

During Week 2, we discussed each of our 3 proposed projects, with which the top 3 was selected for the Week 3 progression-- the customer discovery interview. During this week, we gathered data from our interviewees through Google Forms. About 19 interviewees participated in the interview, with different opinions towards each proposed top 3 projects. Throughout the collection of data from our interviewees, their feedback usually contains criticisms and suggestion that might be a good addition to the current feature of the project. One of the three (3) received more criticisms compared to the other two and is heavily pertained as one of the commonly known and already existing app in the market.

As you can see, the approach our group made to help us aid in finding what project suits best to be implemented went down the hill as it was filled with highly-biased opinions. As as a result, it was a lesson learned for our group to instead of exposing the proposed projects, it is best to ask a more open-ended question such as trying to ask the interviewee what problem they encounter on a daily basis and what do they think is best for them. However, despite the challenges, the decision has been made as shown in Figure 4.

From the results, it the majority of our interviewees prefer to have VolunPeerism to be our top project to work on at approximately 53.3%, not even close to the other two projects.
